Michael Cronan, since 1995 active as an artist in a late-medieval Franconian studio

After graduate studies in Berlin and USA (B.A., M.A.), years as a "staff artist" in the newsrooms of the San Diego Union-Tribune and the Los Angeles Times • simultaneously freelancer for magazines and Southern California art galleries, with wildlife as central theme – also as stone-sculptor (Cararra-marble)

Media as diverse as watercolours, pen & ink, acrylics and gouache – sometimes applied via airbrush – oils, egg tempera
